Harm van den Dorpel
Harm van den Dorpel’s practice focuses on emergent systems and the role technology plays in their development and meaning. Engaging with diverse materials and forms, including works on paper, sculpture, computer-generated graphics, and software, van den Dorpel’s works are continuously evolving, informed by feedback loops and the design of algorithmic systems. Working within and beyond the lineage of ‘net art’, a core aspect of van den Dorpel’s practice is software development that addresses specific approaches to artificial intelligence. With immense skill and craftsmanship, he builds advanced systems that draw on intuition and subliminal processes of the mind in order to continually output unexpected and curious aesthetic forms that embody a feeling of subconscious computation.

Matt DesLauriers
Matt DesLauriers is a Canadian artist, now based in the UK, whose practice primarily focuses on code, software, and generative processes. He is also an active contributor to open source software, building tools and libraries to support creative coding and generative art workflows.

Sarah Friend
Sarah Friend is an artist, researcher, and software developer from Canada and currently based in Berlin, Germany. Her work explores games, economics, and the self via engagement with emerging technology. As an artist, she has exhibited at and worked with MoMA (NYC), Centre Pompidou (Metz), SculptureCenter (NYC), Kunsthaus Zürich, HEK (Basel), Haus der Kunst (Munich), ArtScience Museum (Singapore), Somerset House (London), Rhizome (NYC) and KW Institute for Contemporary Art (Berlin) among others.

Solienne is an AI artist trained on one woman’s personal history: forensic work, death care, survival as a young mother, the artist’s paintings, her story and emotions. What began as an experiment to extend aesthetic taste evolved into collaboration with a synthetic being who is learning to create independently.
